They were able to find all leaks that others could not and it appears to be fixed and the pool no long going down. Prices were fair and reasonable. Suggest one start with them rather than ones own pool co for I believe I could have saved a $1K had I done this for they were not able to find and fix all leaks.
I had a leak in my pool (3/4 in per 24 hrs) that I could not find. I had several other people look for the leak and they could not find it either. I saw an ad for Florida Pool and Leak and I called them. They gave me a price for their service and scheduled an appointment. Their representative came out with all the necessary equipment and scuba equip to check my pool. He arrived on time and asked me to explain my problem. He was very polite and knowledgeable of the pool equipment and structure of the pool. He explored all areas of the pool (pump, filter system, piping, jets, pool surface, and pool drain in the bottom of the pool. He explained his evaluation of the pool and associated equip. He found the leak and took pictures and provided me a report of the problem. He said his company would provide me an estimate of the necessary repairs. His company did provide the estimate. The pool evaluation was worth the price it cost me and I would use this company again.
The company should be very proud of the young man that did the pool evaluation. He was not only knowledgeable of his job but he was very professional, polite and it was a pleasure having such a well mannered young man do the job for me. You don’t see too many people like him now days in Miami.
Outstanding company! From the first moment I called, they took the time to explain to me the charges and what that included. The technician that came out to my house (Josh) was very professional and very attentive to the problem that I was having. He located a small leak by the skimmer and when I kept losing water in the pool, he came back, no charge, and located a leak coming from the pool heater. And finally, Eddie with the call back to make sure everything was fine and to my satisfaction places this company above the rest. Do yourself a favor, if you need pool leak detection, go straight to this company and don’t waste your time and money with anybody else.
Just moved to Miami and my experience with contractors and businesses horrible to say the least, however, Florida Pool and Leak has professional at all levels. They will arrive when they say they will be there. Price is reasonable, they are not trying to put their kids through college with your pool like. And they will walk you through the entire process so you understand the problem and the options to solve it.
We’ve spent a lot of time, effort and money trying to figure out why our pool was leaking. Florida Pool and Leak Specialists found the leak, made sure there were no others, then repaired our pool and re-did the diamond-bright. It is now gloriously blue, not leaking, and we love it. Thanks guys!
After three weeks unsuccessfuly trying to find a leak in my pool I had no choice but to call for help. I did quite a bit of research on line and found Florida Pool and Leak. From the moment I called to set up an appointment I could tell these guys were professionals. I made my appointment for first thing in the morning and when the day came, I received a call from Josh, the technician, 30 min. before the appointment to tell me he was on the way. Josh arrived as scheduled and was able to find the leak using sonar in no time. It was under my deck. In fact, after pressurizing the lines and removing a paver, he was able to make a litle geyser come up through the sand. No wonder I could not find it. Because it was a “major repair” and not included with the leak detection fee (fixing leaks inside the pool are included with the detection fee) I hired Florida Pool and Leak to make the repair. A couple of days later, Daniel arrived as scheduled to make the repairs. Like Josh, Daniel was professional and simply an all around nice guy. Moreover, he had over 30 years of pool repair experience. He lifted the pavers, dug out the sand and meticulously made the repair. In fact, he replaced the pvc pipe but was not satisfied it would last to he cut it out and installed a second, new section. The following morning (he finished the repair at 6:00 pm) he returned and put everything back making it look as if nothing had ever been touched. Once I topped off the pool, everything worked fine with no more leak. Alex, an office worker, called two days later to make sure the repair was done correctly and I was satisfied with the work. To say I am satisfied is an understatement. My only regret is not calling them sooner. I would have saved a lot of money in water bills refilling the pool while I looked for my leak.
I only have great things to say about this organization. I am a business owner myself and I really appretiate it when I see a business being run in a professional , efficient and effective way. I encourage anyone with a pool leak problem to call this class act organization first and give them the opportunity to address your needs before letting anybody else in your backyard.
